What we are looking for - Paper Street Media, LLC is hiring for a Full-time Full Stack Developer. The primary role of the Full Stack Developer is to take complete, end-to-end ownership in all stages of web development. Along with building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, databases, and multiple back-end languages.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
• Monitor and improve the resource usage and overall performance of the sites.
• Analyze product requirements and translate them to design specifications.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhere to best practices, and pursue continued learning opportunities.
• Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Engage with inspiring designers and front end engineers, and collaborate with leading back end engineers as we create reliable APIs.
• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.

Must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications.
• Experience building web applications.
• Good knowledge of PHP, OOP, data structures, and design patterns.
• Good knowledge of front end technologies and concepts.
• Knowledge of Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and Javascript.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Good programming background with ES6+
• Experience with node.js and server-side rendering concepts.
• Excellent understanding of principles and clean coding standards.
• Familiar with PHP frameworks and able to develop customized implementations
• Experience with various web-related technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
